One area we wanted to spend more time in was La Jolla. I booked a kayak tour through Everyday California to explore the La Jolla Sea Caves. We had terrific tour guides and really enjoyed being out in the ocean. Check out their Instagram @everydaycalifornia for the latest info!
Post kayak tour, our tummies were growling. We grabbed 1/2 dozen of the famous cookies from The Cheese Shop to share with everyone back at the house and landed at Puesto for a yummy lunch.
We checked out the Children’s Pool where the Sea Lions like to hang out. There were just a few hanging out and swimming around when we went but we are glad we did!
We also headed back to La Jolla on our last day before our flight and showed GG around. We ate lunch at The Cheese Shop and their sandwiches were delicious. Anyone have a great place to stay in La Jolla? We might look at staying in the area next time we are in San Diego.
